Samuela II 1:24 Midrasz: Midrash Tanchuma & Shemot Rabbah

בְּנוֹת֙ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֶל־שָׁא֖וּל בְּכֶ֑ינָה הַמַּלְבִּֽשְׁכֶ֤ם שָׁנִי֙ עִם־עֲדָנִ֔ים הַֽמַּעֲלֶה֙ עֲדִ֣י זָהָ֔ב עַ֖ל לְבוּשְׁכֶֽן׃

O córy izraelskie, płaczcie za Saulem, który przyodziewał was w szkarłat i kosztowności, który ubierał w klejnoty złote szaty wasze. 

Midrash Tanchuma

And he shall yield royal delights (Gen. 40:20). His daughters shall be worthy of kings. Hence, Scripture states: Who clothed you in scarlet with other delights (II Sam. 1:24).
